This company provides a quite exceptional service. Martin and Gavin are both very professional and very practical, helping with Doctors Certificates, the Registry Office, florists, printed service sheets and providing the nicest possible celebrants to conduct the service if you have no local connections. Because of my particular overseas travel commitments, my Brother was cremated within seven days of his death. This was perhaps unusual, but they managed to make the seemingly impossible happen, with the absolute minimum of fuss. I couldn't recommend them more highly, and I believe that they are also very competitive.
We were very satisfied and pleased with the arrangements. We were not rushed and Martin and Gavin very respectful and professional. We would recommend their services.
Having to say goodbye to loved ones is never easy and unfortunately Weve had to do that a lot recently. A massive thank you to Howard Goodmans and especially to Gavin and Martin for helping my family through some very difficult times. When my brother died in France they dealt with all the relevant authorities and travelled over to bring him back to England for his funeral. Without them we would have been completely lost and I find it hard to find the words to express my gratitude.Thanks for making me smile when times were pretty tough.
From the moment I stepped through the door, Gavin was on hand to help put my worries at ease. The service we received at Howard Goodman was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. They remained respectful and had all the time in the world to help us get things just right. If you are looking for a team who have family at the heart of the service they give, and are dedicated to creating the best last goodbye for your treasured love one then do not hesitate to give them a call, I'm really glad I did.
Really disgusted by the way Howard Goodman behaved by taking advantage of our situation at such a sad time. From the start they were unprofessional and gave us an incorrect quote. When we rang Gavin to discuss this his response was "feel free to instruct another funeral director" as he knew we only had two working days left to organise my fathers funeral if we went elsewhere. Gavin had even gotten the crematorium fees and the service timings incorrect. Extremely disappointed at their poor service and under no circumstances would I ever recommend them. Luckily we were able to find another funeral director who ended up being 500 cheaper!
