Really friendly pub that is incredibly welcoming. Great food and in the summer and amazing terrace with live music and dj s. One of the reasons I chose to move to Weston.
The Captains Cabin has changed hands since my last review.Today we had a very good Sunday lunch for 5, mains of beef, pork, gammon and chicken were very nice, with vegetables.Two starters of Scotch egg were excellent, well worth a try.Staff were attentive and good. We will go back.
Came last night for a Christmas works meal. Never been before. Well what can I say. From the minute we walked in for a start the staff were lovely. So friendly and welcoming. That takes me to the food!! OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Everything was blatantly home made. It looked amazing and tasted even better. Far exceeding expectations. The portions are phenomenal and the taste was devine. Thank you captains cabin for a truly lovely evening. Will definitely be returning and recommending you to everyone
Friendly little pub located right on seafront with lovely outside deck area, perfect on a summers day visited again in the winter for a delicious coffee by a log fire. There is a pool table and bar seating, restaurant seating with sea views and outdoor seating on the terrace. We didn't eat but the roast dinners looked wonderful and the phone was ringing regularly with people booking tables, we will definitely be back for their Sunday roast.
What a lovely evening! Service was so good. The lovely staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel so welcome. and to top it all, the food was absolutely lovely. We've already put next visit in our calendars. thanks for a lovely evening.
