Really enjoyed first visit. Will be back for more. Unpretentious and welcoming local pub off the beaten track and all the better for it. They do a great range of interesting ales which are nicely kept.

If you like brown ales, best bitters and miles this is your place to go to; a long term entrant in the Good Beer Guide they know their market and even if it doesn't change much it's well kept and very tasty.
Nice old style real ale pub. Let down by total lack of veggie food on Sunday. I was offered dry potatoes and vegetables!
